Annie Pillers, Whitman County Coroner and founder of Whitman County’s Suicide Prevention, Intervention, and Response Task Force, addressed efforts being currently made by the 40 member task force to address the rise in suicide deaths locally. Additional speakers included Pastor Corey Laughary and Mike Berney, Director of Palouse River Counseling, both of whom are task force members.
